Healing begins with you

About Me

Hey I'm Julia

I believe open, honest communication is at the heart of all meaningful relationships — yet sometimes, the people closest to us can be the hardest to talk to. As a qualified Integrative Counsellor, I understand that speaking with someone impartial can feel safer and more manageable than opening up to family or friends. My background in sexual health showed me just how powerful it can be to have a safe space to explore sensitive topics around sex and relationships. This led me to train further in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy.

By combining general counselling with sexual therapy, I aim able to offer a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can explore whatever is on your mind, at your own pace. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve worked with individuals facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, and emotional distress. My work with organizations such as North London Hospice, Mind, and the NHS has helped me to support clients through deeply personal and complex experiences, including sexual and relationship challenges.

I am a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), adhering to their respective ethical frameworks to ensure safe and effective practice.

Then I can change

My Approach

I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from multiple therapeutic models.
Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural and Psychodynamic, I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual there’s no one-size-fits-all method.

Whether you're navigating a difficult period or seeking deeper personal insight, therapy can help uncover what’s often repressed or ignored and guide you toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
Above all, I aim to support you in a space that values your autonomy, your pace, and your voice.

How can I help

I offer both short and long-term counselling, depending on your needs. I specialise in:

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Anxiety (mild to acute)

But these concerns are deeply human and very common.

I offer a space where nothing is Taboo.

Sex therapy can help with:

 Premature or delayed ejaculation

 Painful or uncomfortable sex

 Difficulties with penetration

 Orgasm difficulties
